Michelle A. Morin
A Holistic, Hands-on and Energetic Healer, Author and Educator based in New England, Michelle has been in practice, throughout the world, since 1989. In 2001 Michelle founded The Core Alignment™ Practice and The 4th Tone™ Approach to Life & Healing. Combining traditional and non-traditional training with personal healing experiences and transformational practices, Core Alignment work is designed to meet the specific needs of the client in the present moment; assisting an individual, company or group to evolve toward higher levels of health and productivity with increased clarity and congruence.
Michelle’s work is multi-dimensional, hard to categorize, yet intensely palpable in the physical, emotional, and spiritual changes that occur in the lives of the people she serves. She has the ability to share her insight in an honest, heart-felt way, evoking clarity and humor, empowering her practice members, students and business clients to live their lives from a place of greater alignment to their personal truth and the expression of their highest, most authentic selves, both individually and within the structure being addressed.
Following a brief period as a Western Medicine based EMT, Michelle’s formal training as a Holistic Healing Practitioner began in the late 1980’s with a year-long curriculum including therapeutic massage and several adjunct therapy practices (Polarity Therapy, Fundamental Kinesiology, Reiki, Shiatsu, Holistic Nutrition and others). Her extended formal training and personal explorations in healing continued to redefine and expand including, but not limited to, Body-Mind Centering & Developmental Movement; CranioSacral Therapy & MyoFascial Release; Medical QiGong; Chiropractic Philosophy & Practices (specifically Tonal Techniques -- BEST, Network, BGI 1); Advanced Integrative Nutrition; Akashic Field Clearing; Reconnective Healing & The Reconnection.
With nearly 30 years of practical, hands-on experience, Michelle is committed to being a living example of wholeness and possibility in the 21st century. She frequently shares her knowledge with massage therapy and chiropractic students through coaching and mentoring; has developed and taught a Yoga-Tai Ji-Aikido blended class specifically designed for her clients who were rehabilitating injuries; has shared her personal insights and ideas of service on stage before her chiropractic piers; and has spent more than a decade leading 1:1 and small-group workshops and intensive courses based on her hands-on and philosophical teachings.
Michelle has been fortunate to work with Masters in the fields of hands-on healing and mind-body approaches to living and wellness. For more than 20 years Michelle has studied aspects of Body-Mind™ Centering with Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen; she spent three decades periodically studying with and assisting Thomas Crum with his Aikido based programs in conflict resolution, and Aiki principles for living; she has been blessed to take sacred journeys with Native American elders and Peruvian shaman; she has shared ideas and exchanged hands-on practices with healing professionals, chiropractic visionaries and spiritual leaders from around the world creating a diverse, comprehensive tool bag of opportunities and options with one common thread running through them – the fine-tuning and overall wellness of the authentic human experience.
Michelle currently offers a set of programs based on the Core principles garnered from her unique, eclectic and comprehensive life experiences – The Core Alignment™ Principle & The 4th Tone™ Approach to Life & Practice. Michelle is in the process of completing a book (Blending Energy, Embracing Life) and is now offering a New Series of workshops based on her life-long experiences and the Core principles that have emerged.
The Core Alignment™ and 4th Tone™ Approach work is applicable and easy adaptable into any practice, business style or stage of life journey. Michelle enjoys working with diverse groups of healing practitioners, students, small businesses and individuals seeking personal or professional enrichment, particularly healing practitioners who have answered a call, are doing the work of loving service, and still have a deep desire to learn, grow and evolve in their personal and professional lives; as well as individual Spiritual Direction or Coaching clients desirous of garnering a greater understanding of themselves and their role in our ever-changing world.
